Emilee Klein (Mother)
Growing up in Stony Creek, Ct, in an artistic community influenced my love of the arts and my own creative ability. At a young age I enjoyed painting and sketching and brought this with me into adulthood. I originally started with primitive and decorative painting on wood and went on to combine my love of the "old" with my quilting. With the birth of my grandson Max, came the desire to employ this artistic form into baby clothes and quilts for infants along with other sewn creations. You will see that all of my products are double sided so you will always feel like you are getting two for the price of one.
After working in the fast paced world of NY, starting this business with my daughter was a much needed change. As she tells you in her bio we'd done shows for years and this would be our "Big" venture. I can't think of any other person that I'd rather work with and spend time with than my daughter which makes this Mother Daughter team so special.
Courtney Rosenberg (Daughter)
Originally from Branford, CT, I now live in Hamden, CT with my husband and son Max. I started crafting at a very early age with my mothers influence. Jewelry making became my specialty at age eleven. I am a self taught artist who loves to create one of-a-kind pieces. In the development of this website I am trying to evolve my passion for art into a full time profession. In the past year I have become a full time stay at home mom. Aside from jewelry making I am also a social worker, with a Masters degree from Fordham University. This I continue to do on a per diem basis as well. But as much as I love working with children, I love having to opportunity to stay at home and raise my son.
Over the years, my mother and I have worked together doing local craft shows and home demonstrations with our crafts. There has been such a request over the years that we have finally decided to extend our products to others through this website. We hope you will enjoy browsing our products. Please feel free to contact us with any comments, questions, or suggestions that you may have.
We would like to extend many thanks out to family and friends for all of their support and purchases over the years. Also a thank you to Lisa Palmiere of LMPPD Photography in East Haven, CT. for photographing our designs and helping us develop our website.
